Live-out Chef needed to join existing domestic staff on a beautiful 16-acre private, semi-formal estate in Dallas, Texas. Chef will be responsible for weekly menu planning, grocery shopping, stocking the kitchen and keeping it neat and orderly at all times. The Family is comprised of two adults with frequent guests and occasional visiting relatives. The family requests daily dinners prepared in a healthy and fresh food style. Low country and California style are favorites cuisines; heavy on fish and shellfish; light on fat. Daily dessert production.

Chef will be responsible for proposing weekly menu to the House Manager and the principal and then procuring the groceries needed for the week. Will be responsible for stocking and organizing the kitchen as well as cleaning up after meals. Occasional business lunches, dinner parties, Holidays and events will be included in duties.

Typical Week is Monday-Friday, with an option for 2 Saturdays a month as needed. Flexibility is a must The Chef Salary is TBD but consideration will be given to experience and training. North Carolina: Live-out Cook/Chef #887

Live-out Cook/Chef needed to join existing domestic staff on a beautiful 150-acre private, semi-formal ranch in North Carolina. Will be responsible for weekly menu planning, grocery shopping, stocking the kitchen and keeping it neat and orderly at all times. Will primarily be cooking for the two principals (wife & husband) who enjoy healthier, low-carb, low-salt cuisine but must also be capable of cooking for complicated dishes when entertaining. The principals will have occasional dinner parties (10 to 12 a month) and may have up to 16 guests at a time. Larger events occur on a monthly basis and cook/chef should be comfortable cooking for large groups of people.

Cook/chef will be responsible for proposing weekly menu to the Butler and then procuring the groceries needed for the week. Will be responsible for stocking and organizing the kitchen as well as cleaning up after meals. Lunch is generally served at 1pm while dinner is between 5pm and 6pm. Timing is very important and ideal candidates will be self-starters that can organize their day to accomplish any shopping or errands while still being able to provide lunch and dinner at the scheduled times (there is a nice team environment already established and PA or Housekeeper may be able to assist with errands on occasion). Must be very animal friendly and willing to feed, walk, medicate and handle the family dogs daily.

Occasional travel to homes in Memphis and Atlanta for larger dinner parties is required. Housing will be provided in those locations for the cook/chef.

Pennsylvania: Household Manager/Butler/Cook #878

Butler/Household Manager/cook needed to provide outstanding service to single principal and his 16 year-old son who resides in the household 50% of the time. Will be responsible for management and oversight of a fully staffed 8,000 sf home. Other staff members include a full-time personal assistant, a part-time chef, a housekeeper that works 3 times a week, groundskeepers, a rental property manager and corporate office personnel. Ideal candidates will display excellent communication skills to work closely with the support staff to ensure all areas of the home and property are kept in outstanding condition at all times. Must have the ability to negotiate with and oversee outside vendors.

Must be comfortable with driving principal when needed.  Will be responsible for wardrobe care including laundry, valet work and daily upkeep of fine wardrobes, including packing and unpacking for principal’s travel, ironing and steaming. Will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast and lunch (lunch is a packed meal most days) and preparing dinner three times a week. Occasional meal prep for guests is required.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in a high-end home in a similar position. Must be comfortable being around young adults. Downstairs efficiency is provided with a separate entrance, bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom storage.
