Facilities Manager needed for large, complex 200-acre Equestrian center and private Estate in Washington. Assist with the management of estate grounds, facilities and systems.  Must have skills to work with spreadsheets, safety and security systems, regulatory compliance and produce reports and assist the long-time General Manager with a wide variety of duties.  Reporting to the General Manager, this position makes up one of three members of the full-time estate crew.   Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in which weekends are required.

The facility is comprised of two barns housing over 20 horses, on property residences, barns, shops and vehicle storage.  Over 20 items of rolling stock plus farm and construction machinery.

Must have excellent driving record and the ability to drive long distances with trailer and RV.  Must be capable of assisting with loading horses into a trailer, driving and delivering them to different locations throughout the year.   Must be willing to work within a team to take on a wide variety of duties and tasks including but not limited to; irrigation, mowing, cutting wood, landscape improvements and upkeep, gardening, pruning, fencing, pet care as needed. Off estate travel required several times a year.

Experience in construction, commercial driving, HVAC, groundskeeping, mechanical or electrical repair, gardening and tree pruning, livestock handling or hospitality services a plus.

This could be position for a married couple where the second could work off site or on an ad-hoc basis on the Estate; back-up pet caretaker, gardening, greenhouse, or potentially work for the estate-owned gas station and mini-mart nearby.
