While every job description is absolutely unique, nearly all require some hands-on responsibilities. We are seeking candidates to fill the following positions:
Full-time, live-out Spanish speaking Housekeeper/Nanny needed in DC. Family is seeking a Mother’s Helper for a busy stay-at-home Mom with an 18 month old boy and a second baby boy due in August. Dad is a professional who travels frequently and occasionally works from home, rather than at his office. Duties will include daily housekeeping; keeping the home clean, neat and organized on a daily basis while helping with errands, dog walking, family laundry and grocery shopping. Will also prepare meals two to three times a week. Must be experienced with young children and willing to travel with the family when needed. Must be fluent in Spanish and English, both oral and written. Must have a good driving record; vehicle will be provided for work use. Looking for someone who truly enjoys being in a busy home with active children and dogs. Must get along well with others but must also be capable of working independently without micromanagement. Excellent compensation package; good salary, health coverage and an apartment will be provided for the right long- term candidate.

Woman works from home and her farm & animals are an integral part of her work. Looking for experienced and highly competent applicant(s) who are excellent with animals and have the necessary skills, common sense and basic animal knowledge needed to care for her menagerie which includes six goats, four miniature horses, rabbits, chickens, various birds, potbellied pigs, dogs and cats. A jack-of-all-trades with land management skills is needed to maintain the property; duties include fixing fences, cutting trees, dragging the paddock and removing manure. Would also maintain all the animals’ structures, purchase feed, keep health records, exercise, feed and generally keep animals safe and happy. This is a home for her animals not a working farm. Manager will handle all animal- related issues including providing proper nutrition. Will hire, train, oversee and work with other animal caretakers and other household staff. Looking for employee(s) who are passionate about their work as well as honest, discrete and focused. This is a primary residence, so we will consider a couple team experienced with private service, able to respect boundaries and willing to work both within the home and outside on the property with the animals. Manage full-time staff and various part-time support staff while working hands-on-maintaining this extensive property and home. Must like the outdoors and animals. Responsible for caring for dogs and horses daily, finding coverage for days off. Livestock are run on a leased portion of ranch and require no responsibility- but basic knowledge of cattle a plus. Would provide service to owner, a single man with multiple properties, during his infrequent periods in residence as well as providing for his guests. Wardrobe responsibilities include; laundry and ironing, keep all closets organized, tracking dry cleaning and helping with packing and unpacking. Must also track inventory and purchases for the home and do household and personal shopping with frequent daily errands and driving responsibilities. One person must have above average culinary abilities and be willing to prepare a variety of meals (primarily dinner) 3-4 times per week for a family of four. Employer will hire outside caterers for larger events but do require staff with hospitality and service experience. The couple must be kid friendly and willing to supervise, drive, and provide occasional over-nights and infrequent travel with family to assist with two teenage children. Basic handy-man abilities and preventative maintenance skills required to maintain grounds and structures on the property. Cottage on the property with no kitchen facility would be provided or live-off site. Salary will be commensurate with experience and an excellent benefit package will be provided.
